MUSICAL BRAIN SCAN SERIES: RAPHAEL GORDON
Dear Indies boys and girl, we're very thrilled to introduce you today a new Musical Brain Scan! We hope that you are safe and well! For this new episode we would like to introduce Raphael Gordon.
For those who does not know Gordon Raphael is an American musician, audio engineer and music producer. He is particularly known for his role as producer on the first three albums of the American group The Strokes.
We asked him to give us a short introduction of himself, here is what he said
"Hello! My name is Gordon Raphael.
Before I grew up to record/produce The Strokes first 2 albums-- I basically spent my whole life listening to music, and playing in bands.
I was born in the Bronx New York, but grew up in Seattle Washington where I started performing live rock 'n' roll at the age of 13.
My book, "The World Is Going To Love This (Up from the basement with The Strokes" was published a couple years ago in London, and portrays all my music philosophy and learning curves.
I have so many music heroes, and listening to great songs on beautiful sound systems is something that really gets me super high – – every single day. I've been writing and recording my own music since January 1, 1980 – – and I have about 10 crazy albums so far out on streaming services with another five or six ready to be released soon.
I also run an extreme creative bubble website called: Gordotronic.com"
